All middle school students will participate in the Senior Division, ages (11-15). They will do a 200M swim, 6-mile bike ride and 1-mile run at their race which is on Sunday the 21st. If you have a younger sibling who wants to participate as well and is between the ages of 6-10, they will be in the Junior Division and that will be held on Saturday, May 20th. The distances are half of the Senior Division.

Don’t forget to list Team Oak Forest/Frank Black MS as your team! We will be teaming up with Oak Forest Elementary as we’ve done the past three years. Last year, we had 167 students participate. Siblings and friends can sign up for our team as well. We will receive back $10/participant which will help pay for the end of year triathlon celebration party. Location to be announced.
Free YMCA Training - Our local Y, Harriet and Joe Foster Family YMCA, will offer a 7-week training program on Fridays at 5:30pm starting March 31 (you must be registered for the race in order to participate in the free training). This training will fill up so register ASAP. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to register. Attached is the YMCA training information.
NOTE: Make sure you email me, Robin Day, at email@example.com to tell me that you have signed your child up for the race as I will be sending out periodic updates about training and race weekend.
GO Team Oak Forest/FBMS!
