Dear Dear Parents of Kickstart Kids Karate Students,  You are invited to a general business meeting of the Karate Parent Network on Tuesday, January 19 at 5:30 pm.  We will be voting to approve the budget for the Karate Parent Network club at FBMS. This will take about 15 minutes.

February 20 -- Spring Qualifyer --  Manville HS
March 12 --  City Championship --  Manville HS
April 9 -- State Championship -- Manville HS
End of May -- Belt Ceremony and Dinner
End of May -- Jam All Nationals
July 12-18 -- UFAF 2016 ITC World Championships

LAS VEGAS TRIP MEETING -- Tuesday, January 19, at 5:45 pm

Parents, Students, Chaperones: All who are considering going on this trip should attend this important meeting. If you cannot make it, please contact Mr. Garza. We will be discussing all the details for the trip to Las Vegas for the UFAF 2016 karate tournament in July. 
If you and/or your student are planning to go on this trip, Mr. Garza needs the following forms turned in at this meeting for each person going on the trip. The first two forms are due from each student going, and all three forms are due from each chaperone planning on going.
Also due at this meeting will be the remaining of the first 2 installments of payments, which comes to a total of $300 per person at this point.  These funds will be used to secure plane tickets soon.  The next payment will be due at the end of January.

WOMEN'S SELF DEFENSE CLASS
Last but not least, this spring we will be hosting a class about Self Defense for Girls and Women.  This important class will be taught by Mr. Derrick Stinson, who taught karate at FBMS for many years.   Last year we held this class, and it was very well received. More information will be coming soon.
